Huge problem solver

“I tried various magnifying gadgets: sheets, magnifier, glasses. A review of one of those mentioned this lamp, which was new to me. Day one. Assembly was easy. The first test was reading. To get the proper focus, I need the book quite close to the glass. A pillow worked to raise the book. BUT the lamp is so flexible that could bend it lower, sideways, up and down, easily. The weighted base is quite heavy but liftable, even for 80 year old me.

Next I tried my iPad. The art videos are Larger and Crisp. A bonus. I might by a second lamp for my art studio. The iPhone was also much easier to read and view.

My expectations were low. However, this lamp solved many problems. Worth the price.”
Putting the two sections of the arc together did take a bit of wrangling to make screw holes on both pieces line up correctly. And ,as others have noted, the two sections have a different finish, matte on top and smooth/shiny below.
However, neither of these nits is enough to deduct a star – not at this price. Rare find that works like a charm and was well-priced as well.”

“This magnified, self-supporting light (floor base) has brought me a new outlook on what I can do for myself again.
