“Its a good looking, stable and sturdy lamp. On/Off/Dimmer is smooth and substantial. The light it casts is perfect for reading. It is illuminating my IPad keyboard as I write this. It is easy on batteries. I’m using rechargeable and just recharged after 3 months of use. andAssembly is straight forward if you have the ability to screw sections of tubing together. Couple of watch outs…Stuff the power cord up into each tube as you go down from the lamp head to minimize excess at the end. The base is subject to cross threading so be very careful to get it right. Too much resistance or odd angle, STOP and start over.”
